the new Komet is called "Rausch" and is pretty good in my opinion. It's a
lot more accessible than Bretschneider's "Rand" release last year on Mille
Plateaux, mainly in the sense that there is a distinct metered groove
throughout. This is not to say that it's a dance album though ;-)
If you haven't heard his stuff before, it's very clinical, clean, sterile
sounds, but in the case of Komet very organized and almost catchy at times.
Each song flows into the next in a way not unlike the first snd CD, but this
yields much better results in terms of progression and detail.
as for pimmon, I have the "kinetica" release which is pretty good, it's got
a more organic ambience about it that seems to differ from what i've read of
his other releases, but it's the only one I've actually heard. Either way, I
like it, and that's all that really matters to me. :-)
