I can't help it, I'm going to be an ass... dump the Mac and get a real
computer!  har har...

ok but I've got another bad mac story that goes with this..  my dad had scsi
problems on his mac, turns out the scsi chain actually blew the resister
that acted as the passive terminator.  He had to buy an external terminator
to hang off the chain, cost him $75!  I later found one at a thrift store
for $5 (just looks like a generic cable connector).

heh thats the thing with mac owners, they can throw money at any problem to
make it go away!

should be fine.. if its ata/66 be sure to get the ata/66 cable for full
speed
