You´re asking for it: for every bad Mac story, there´s about thirty thousand+
bad PC stories. A friend of mine recently switched from a Mac to a PC
(traitor!) and I could give you a sweet list of problems he´s been having since
the switch. He´s too proud to say those magic words "Wish I hadn´t switched"
but I know what he´s thinking...I know.  ;)

Maybe your dad´s problem wasn´t a Mac-problem but a generic problem that´s got
nothing to do with the platform? Maybe?

(this is not the start of a flame war, just a personal statement :)
