What a scam!

Hmmm. I bought my QPS firewire burner (the newest Plextor 12/10/32 in a firewire enclosure) for about US$350 from Outpost - an excellent drive, by the way - so a price of US$500 is perhaps a scam, and an iMac has the not so good option for a USB burner also, so the dealer seems less that completely honest. But firewire for CD-R audio is working very well now (at least with Toast 4._._), so there is not much of scam there.
