firewire cards are only now appearing on the market. usb converters are
available but as mentioned by taylor: for a few hundert$. if you are on a
tight budget, then this may make a difference. but this is not the main
reason i have some doubts about the new powerbooks: its the lack of
advantage in the overall spec. maybe a titanium case makes the laptop
>>looking<< more stable and roadworthy. but is this also true for the
display harddisk and electronics? i doubt this. but hey: maybe there will be
an urgend need for titanium for some medical or other purpose and you can
sell the case....
