years ago (long before i have any microsnd awakening...), i had this debussy
piano cd, one of my first (13 years old now).
I didn't have a listen for years, and when i played it again, although all
the track would be played i noticed it was completly filled with parasite
sounds (granular synthesis alike).
At first i was pretty annoyed. So i got the pristine same cd (the old one
being kind of yellish in comparison), and guess what after a few times, i
just had to go back to the rotten cd... i needed the parasites
....i would'nt say it's as "musical" as vert's processed köln konzert though
: )

an other funny audio infection i recall is when listening to a home-made
tape compilation for the whole summer, i would be back home and play one of
the highlights of my comp, the original cd track, at my disappointment
seemingly completely changed, at different speed/pitch, colored by the
memory of the preceding track on the tape and the anticipation of the
following track, which actually never comes.

just some personal feelings.
