ALIAS FREQUENCIES presents its first release:

Mustard Keanu is an absurdist treat of bargain bin records and bug-eyed 
scratching. No one is sacred at the hands of WUAL, from Kamahl to Richard 
Burton to the Pope. These and others are mangled in a unique style that 
WUAL has mastered over ten years of presenting acclaimed experimental radio 
shows on 2MBS-FM in Sydney.

Wake Up And Listen has previously appeared on compilation CDs from Zonar 
Recordings (Dis-locations) and Clan Analogue (Jaunt).

Mustard Keanu is the first release from Alias Frequencies, which is set to 
become one of Australia's most exciting labels for experimental music. 
Future releases will include new and archival recordings by some of the 
country's finest sound artists.

NEWS:

Wake Up & Listen's Shannon O'Neill and Adrian Bertram will be performing 
along with cut-up master Rik Rue, this Sunday March 11 from 7pm at 
Impermanent Audio, Imperial Slacks Gallery, lvl 2, 111 Campbell St, Surry 
Hills, Sydney. $5/7.

There will be three solo sets followed by an improvised trio performance.

Adrian Bertram: clarinet, saxophone, electronics, toys.
Shannon O'Neill: personal computer, electronics.
Rik Rue: tapes, minidiscs, electronics.
