you could:
- put a nice contact mic on various parts of the computer and make
the computer process the sh*t out of photoshop image file and output the
artifactual sounds
- attempt to "circuit bend" a computer (if you have the electronics
knowhow) and make something entirely different. (mine would be a nice
paper weight :) )
-if you have a sony touchscreen, you could program a virtual guitar and
"pluck" the "scring".
-thereamidi (got that on my palm)-would that be lumped into "rendering"?
-infuse nanoprobes that convert infrared information into acoustical
information into your audiences ears beam them a image file
i was gonna writed down more ways, but it seems that they would fit into
the categories that you have already established. oh well.
