i don't really understand... and i don't find this in guido 
sprenger's footnote in the book either. he rather points out that a 
translation won't be able to deliver the particular poetry in the 
titles tietchens makes up. that's true of course, and therefore any 
translation will fail, as of course the poetry is what really counts. 
it's a bit like the english versions of the kraftwerk song texts... 
they work so much better in german.

die fahrbahn ist ein graues band,
weisse streifen, gruener rand

etc.
