that's not exactly it. i'm talking about general impressions, from
comments artists make when they talk of anything, & also the comments
that they don't make. i'm also surprised to have received negative
feedback to begin with, where many longer, sloppier off-topic messages
posted on this very list usually fail to raise a single eyebrow. what
_is_ so shocking about what i said?
i don't mean to judge anyone, & in fact i think this state of affairs is
mostly due to an understandable distrust towards _any_ political
organization, be it left- or right-winged. this time however, it's not
about supporting a certain party or a given loudmouth; it's about
voicing your concern about things which are being decided behind your
back, things which _will_, by all knowledgeable accounts, make a
sensible difference to you & your friends, family & children. it's not
about refusing everything (even though the possibility of compromise
continues to be denied by pro-FTAA corpies) but the situation is
critical enough that everybody's concern is absolutely needed.

yes, but we are worker-ants as well & the big picture is not made of
political events alone. we must do more than contemplate.
