whoa, i think that perhaps some microsounders out there should hold off on
the anger-spurred fact finding missions and personal barb throwing and
either take a deep breath or smoke a joint or tip toe through the tulips or
something. whether american or dutch or whatever, i think we are all
concerned with the same thing, namely, the bizarre and twisted state of the
world today and the sad cultural paradigm we are living in. ALL countries
are filled with hypocrisy and funded by ill gotten gains. there are no
innocent people in government anywhere. i'm sure it's impossible to have
power on any level in either the private or public sector in this world with
out getting your hands very dirty. at least there is an opportunity for us
as citizens of various nations who probably have no real representation of
our views and ideals in any government anywhere in the world to discuss and
debate the weirdness we find ourselves in. hopefully, one day, this dialog
will translate into wider political views that have a voice in a variety of
governments around the world and situations will slowly change. until that
time, and at the risk of sounding schmarmy, all we have is this dialog and
each other. (i swear i'm not a hippie, i just sound like one at the moment!)
