hey, that sounds just like microsoft.

joking apart, i don't see what the problem is with writing messages in
weird characters & calling it text.  after all, we listen to weird
noises & call it music.  but maybe your mama didn't hold you enough as a
baby either?

ascii art & ascii-enabled language has a strong tradition behind it.  it
is neither new nor incoherent.  though i'll admit as to not really
understanding some of it myself, i'd be stupid to belittle it as you do.

regardless of all this, i have a BIG HUNCH a $500+ software will come
with all the english language support you need, otherwise i doubt ms. NN
would have stayed in business for more than a few weeks.

& while i'm at it...  those who like visuals (of the self-generative,
vector-based kind) may want to check out http://www.auto-illustrator.com
....  one of the most awesome pieces of software ever invented.  it's
free (for now), &, for a beta, surprisingly stable.
