Aside from being an Eno "schtick", this phrase can now describe what a
lot of people on this list do. Since their entire studio is contained
within their computers, one can say that they are "playing their studio
like an instrument". Eno's "wizardry" probably would lie more in the
usage of studio, in it's varied absract forms,  rather than with the
computer, per se.
