analog|digital or digilog?

Hi.
Some thoughts i'd like you to read.
May analog-source music, post-processed with any kind of music software (i 
mean tools like ProTools...), be considered digital music, since its 
translation to bits?
Is Wurmloch Variationen by S.Mathieu, for exemple, digital or analog music?
I'd answer digital, because the complete work implies the digital 
processing.
But...something sounds me wrong: when i add to my digital-sources an old 
Boss guitar-flanger, what is the result?
Does any kind of melting between analog and digital results in a digital 
solution (excepted the matter of the support)?
Do the software implicate a digital transformation with "no point of 
return"?

Sorry for the number of questions, but i'm such a curious listener.
