yes. G4 powerbook w/ 828. multichannel out of SuperCollider.
hoping that public csound will one day be ASIO compatible, though
it can still use the 828 through the sound manager.
as far as speed goes, I've been able to do realtime convolution on
audio inputs
to multi-channel output with very little lag. this is rather
impressive considering that
convolution is rather computationally intensive with the FFT analysis
then resynthesis and all
that. This might be more of a plug for superCollider than the 828 though.

Has anyone integrated the Motu 828 firewire interface into their
(laptop) audio setup? If so are you satisfied with it and how are
you using it in your set up?
Any info on any other firewire audio interfaces? I've seen one
other with an external DSP option, but it was extremely expensive.
