The Fällt 3"CDs are quite lovely. I'm enjoying the more out-of-way
composers' work as much as the 'provens'. Aesthecially pleasing set
as well (although the Rabelais CD-art is the perfect
wrench-in-the-mechanics for the design purist). I hope this series
continues, there's a good healthy breathing living exchange between
man & machine going on there...

Also interesting (to me) are the following:

Rune Lindblad & Others: RL CD/LP/Book (Firework Edition). A sort of
homage to Lindblad, with a few original vault pieces aside reworkings
by folk like CM Von Hausswolf, Leif Elggren, Kent Tankred, et.al. The
LP is actually a 'dub version' 12" by the unkown-to-me outfit
Brommage Dub . Accompanying book/libretto fills in the gaps.

Oren Ambarchi: Persona 12" (ERS). Still reeling from Oren's set at
Diapason last month, ezxcellent guitar based but not necessarily
guitar sourced sound-set. Chiming bell-tones and drones abound,
lengthy sides for extended alpha-state meditation.

Olivia Block: Mobius Fuse CD (Sedimental). Sort of a slow-motion
  conrete. Quite lovely and vivid.

DJ /Rupture: Gold Teeth Thief CD-R (Soot). Novel not only for its'
inclusion of pieces by Mimaroglu, Berio & Zwedberg amidst a hodge
podge of contemporary r&b/hip-hop, breakcore, dancehall, computer
music, and frican music but for making all work. Seemlessly. And not
a hint of the sort of 'I did this for the sake of being quirky &
eclectic'. I get the feeling that this is what Jace listens to in a
week, crystallized into a 67 minute chunk.

Many more of course but those stand out... -Våt
