Re; Near-field monitors

On the low end - Optimus (yes Radio Shack)

high-end press, now sourced by RCA and on sale (List
$360.00) for $100.00 bucks w/30 day return...
amazing speakers
The high end - Pro-Ac (
http://www.proac-loudspeakers.com/index.htm )- utilized by
the best studios around the world - Sterling, Ladyland
etc... - with Tablettes the least $$$ - Futures @
$20,000.00 - may be heard @ salons around the globe. The
Tannoys are annoyingly bright IMHO.
I review audio gear/music for a few mags and have had a
great many units and these are my pref. Of course as with
anything this is a personal, biased opinion. Whatever you
like is ALWAYS thew best !
