It seems to me that is happen quite often at microsound and other experimental (computer) music happenings.  

I'am not really long into this scene but at the few gigs i've been to were al people who were slipping out concious and 
such  : 2 months ago i went to a Vladislav Delay concert, it was quite intense the volume was  high and very much 
very low frequencys : they had to open the doors because they were resonating to much in the doorposts. The room 
was all black and there was nothing to see because he was playing behind an black curtain the only thing you could 
see was very faint red light going on/of very slow. At the end there were people lying at the ground al green and 
many people were talking about visions. 

Does someone here knows why it happens quite often? And why here and not at rock concerts or techno dance 
events ( besides drugs and overheating ofcourse). Is it the extreme frequencies, the repetition, the duration of the 
pieces, does it reminds you of when you where still in the womb of your mom or is it just nonsense of people who 
wants to show how they can be absorbed by quality music? I'm interested in seeing all your beautifull theories :o)
