So this qualifies me as 'Stupid'? Are any of you folks familiar with a 
little linguistic concept referred to as "use/mention distinction"?

Would it have made a difference if i had handcuffed the word "primitives" in 
quotation marks? Because that's how its use is intended: as a mentioning of 
a myth. I'll be more careful next time... don't want any of you knee-jerk 
libbies to get your panties in a wad over your inability to decipher a 
simple case of use/mention distinction.

Here's hoping I don't inadvertently become the next Jeremy Tolsma.
