This is cool, if nothing else. Being compared to Stockhausen...wow...I´ll tell
my grandchildren about this one. I´ll avoid that whole Sirius thing, though. I
mean, Stockie is far, far out these days, and I don´t want my grandchildren to
think I´m sent from the heavens or something.

(and for the record: no granular synthesis was involved, but "granular" and
"synthesis" seems to be the buzzword of the day so I understand why Ellard,
somewhat ironically, would use them).

I do agree (a bit) with him regarding the glitch, though. I think there´s too
much glitch around at the moment, and it seems to have become somewhat of a
fashion item. The compilation in question is not representative, though, as I
think it´s an excellent piece(s) of work (not commenting on my own track, of
course; that would be too Stockie to handle).

And how can he slam Autopoiesesis?!

(btw, his whole rhetoric is based on the premise of emotion, or, as he claims
for the compilation in question, "lack of emotional impact"; I dismiss the
premise and find it too strange that someone complaining of a lack of
progression in glitch music use the oldest argument in the book, emotion, to
dismiss it)
