usually we send this little paragraph to people who want to send demos:

we receive more demos then we can listen to. But if we like what we hear
then we will contact
you.
include your email address / phone number clearly on both the tape/cd and
the box. We accept demos in any format, but prefer CD and MiniDisc.

then if we get hassled i go off on a rant which you got sent.
