FW: [microsound] therapeutic music

The best I could come up with was to throw an
experimental music festival (Woodstockhausen 2001).
It worked. Didn't think bad thoughts for an
entire day.

i have found the pulseprogramming 12"s to be very
comforting sounds... the name escapes me right now
but it's 2 12"s released separately with pictures
of, i presume, the two guys responsible for the music.
also the opiate side of the opiate/goodiepal split
is wonderful... beyond the electronic realm i have
been listening to a lot of alice coltrane,
particularly
p'taah & the el daoud, and also much arvo part, but
specifically 'tabula rasa' which is perhaps the most
emotional music i have ever heard and will almost
always make me want to cry... but it is not in a bad
way... it evokes very true and real emotions that feel
good to experience. with love,
gregory
