hmm... it's funny how academia can distort the reality/history. One of my
Jazz instructors kept playing us recordings or Thelonius Monk as great blues
examples... He did not bend any strings... I hope he's not considered for
"inventing" triton. I was also taught that blues is characterized by its
form and the use of pentatonic scale with "blue" notes, not the bending. Oh
well, I'll shut up now.
