an acquaintance recently stated that "classic information theory just
doesn't cut it anymore" </paraphrase>...I guess people don't realize that
Shannon's work has mathematical proofs...it should rightly be called
"information science" since the word "theory" tends infer an unproven
system of knowledge...like paranormal psychology or something...
