Umm...what ? The Audigy is great, save for the fact that the ASIO drivers
only function above 48kHz. When I was shopping for a card forr my desktop I
got demo units of EVERYTHING. After testing latency for audio and MIDI, and
signal to noise ratio out of all the outputs, my findings were that there
were precious few cards that performed better, all the ones that did were
SRP above $500 US, and even the ones that did had such a a minmal performace
increase that the extra 3 to 6 hundred bucks was simply not worth it for me.
If you're on a pc and don't need  alot of ins and outs, there is simply no
contest any where near this price point.

I for one will be picking this up as soon as it hits the shelves.
