Hello again, and thanks to everyone who showed up over the holidays. I
appreciate it This week Think Tank features a fun-packed lineup, with the
accent on extreme PowerBook experimentation:

vance stevenson, infamous Max/MSP wunderkind, crony and respected colleague
of the glitch elite, and all-'round talented fellow, will be treating us to 
a
taste of his latest micro- and macrosonic creations. Not to be missed...and

accompanying vance will be returning Think Tank faves Paul Paradiso and
n_kra, who, faced with vance's innovations will no doubt be on their very
best behavior.

and i'll play a bit, and dan will have some films to show, and we'll all

And given some confusion in the past, may I remind you that it's free!
There's a good show upstairs the same evening, featuring our friends Os 
Afros
Sambas (with some refugees from Cibo Matto and the Beck band) which you do
indeed have to pay for, but if you're there just for the laptops, head
straight down to the basement and you will incur no fee.

We're still biweekly, in the same location on alternate Friday for the
forseeable future. The next Think Tank will take place on January 25;
Nicholas Marantz will be taking a break from his recent
choreographically-inclined labors to bring us a solo electronics set. I
checked out his act at the Merce Cunningham studios a few weeks back and it
was a fine thing indeed.
