beginning at 8:30pm this saturday, januray 12th
in the basement of the old school for the deaf (221 cumberland ave. n.)
it is between 14th street and university drive
there will be lots of free parking, come in through the back door

tickets are sold at the door for $3 or $5 for two tickets
so all you students can rock out on a budget

there will be funky performances by:

knar:  ginourmous breaks and digital hardcore with punch that will hit
you in the face.  moog abuse is almost a certainty, as is the use of
distastefull anime samples.

holzkopf:  post-industrial emo-glitch.  kind of like what would happen
if you combined the aesthitics of japanese noise, wussy sentimentality
and that hip music that you always here in modern martial arts movies.

jeff morton:  every sound you could possibley imagine, or not even
consider possible squeezed from compact disc players resampled,
reprocessed, looped and reformed into a head-knod inducing thing.  jeff
morton is one mad-ass mofo.

fidget:  breaks for sugar addicts.  jittery beats screwed up and on the
edge of dance-ability.

there will be phat performances by:

the lady gates:  cuts of various sizes, shapes, forms and appearances.
the lady gates will keep the mood fresh and the vibe fresh as well.

jon vaughn:  clicks, sounds taken from no-inputs and the possible
inclusion of technologies which may or may not be a radio.

root of -1:  who knows what will come from the speakers when this person
of impossible equations gets ahold of the turntables.
