Well, why not use some of the Midi Xtras available to send out midi messages
to Max/msp ?

I´ve done this to communicate with supercollider and reaktor and various
soft synths with enjoyable results.

However, Cristopher Sorg´s idea about using the URL commands (TCP/IP) inbuilt
in Lingo, could be an interesting experiment. That would allow for all
kinds of communication between Flash, Director and various sound
programs.

AZ... I don´t think there are any Flash midi xtras, but you can easily send
parameters out of Flash and get Director to interpret them and translate into
midi messages to send out. This could be slow however.
