RE: [microsound] McDonna files

i am downloading some sounds now from this, and yes, I like 'music' and yes, the samples suck - that should make a nice Freiband mix altogether.
with similar affection I did 'last night a DJ saved my file', but still need someone to release it as a 7"...

Frans

that depends on your idea of the "remix". personally i don't care. anyone
that can make a track out of the sound of their hard drive spinning up ought
to be able to work with the madonna samples... effects or not.

no one is forcing you to do this. and if you are trying to deter us
*musicians* and *microsounders* with the fear of being labeled "supporters
of pop culture" or "madonna lovers" or whatever, just forget about it, my
ears are coverred with my hands as I prance about the room singing "Like a
Virgin", out of key, at the top of my lungs.

The same thing i've thought when I've downloaded them! How do they can
 remix
smthing with effects (delays etc..). The whole thing suck. It is done
 only
to increase her popularity even between us *musicians* and *microsounders*
