Yeah, that's probably the same for me. I use the file sharing services to
check out things I'm curious about which I'll then go and purchase if I
like them. For example I just bought the Mokira cd on Raster after
downloading an mp3 months ago. Otherwise I'll use that stuff to download
things which are no longer available, oddities/live bootlegs and things
that I wouldn't bother to purchase anyway (like hip-hop singles which are
part of albums which only feature a couple of good tunes and are a waste
of money anyway :-)).

The thing is that all this crap the corporate music business puts out and
is crying about is completely geared towards teenagers and young adults
which are the groups who are likely to use these file sharing services, so
they're complaining about not being able to rip off kids. I mean there
are just so many things wrong with this whole issue. It's like listening
to the rhetoric of communist or fascist dictators. People misusing their
power and complaining about corruption and morality when they're the
antithesis of both.
