Watermann Remix Project

I've uploaded a piece, "cutoff and mend," to the Mangled Drop Box in the
John Watermann folder on the server.  I used a few of the Watermann
samples, one Cascone mangled sample, and a sonified version of the image
file.

For what it's worth, my small tribute to a composer whose work I knew in
name only.

I've been recently thinking about mortality/elegy with my father being
in the hospital with lymphoma, and one of the senior emeritus faculty in
my department at work taking a serious fall the other day and smashing
up his face.  Both are also named John.  Tough seeing these once strong
men prone, frail, and helpless, especially my dad.

I don't know many details about Watermann's life, but I hope his passing
was peaceful.
