even with a simple keyboard and mouse or mousepad
there is much open to gestural interpretation  that
can be used to control the movement. speed of
movement, uniformity of movement, rate of change of
start and stopping of a mouse movement. If these type
of things are used compositional control parameters
then it will mean the laptop will need playing with
more care and attention to how  its keyboard/mouse are
moved and not just the end value they give.
