Call for Entries â TENSILE (tentative title) â an Acoustic Guitar Compilation

Compositions no longer than 6 minutes. No limitation of style will be imposed.  The only rule: the sound source must be derived from acoustic guitar (nylon, steel string, amplified acoustic, are all acceptable).  Whatever you choose to do as far as processing or rearranging the recorded sound is up to you. Unconventional performance techniques are acceptable.  Straight up guitar tracks are also acceptable (single track, or multitrack).  Copyright remains with the composer.

Chosen artists will receive 1 copy of the compilation.  On our part, we will work toward getting reviews and distribution.  Deadline for submission is August 15 (postmarked).  The projected release date is sometime before the end of 2002.
