Not at all.

In SoundHack > Hack > QtCoder

This will save the sonogram as a quicktime movie.


Editing movie frames with Photoshop is a whole other topic,
I'm sure the web is full of awesome tutorials.

but the most basic, useful for this task , is to export
the frames as a picture sequence, which Quicktime Pro will
easily do.

Then you edit the pictures in Photoshop which you could
then convert back to sound with Soundhack.

.... if you want you could asamble a new movie with Quicktime,
iMovie, AE, Flash... and then convert to sound in Soundhack...

Exporting/Importing raw or headerless data is a cool way to
generate samples and images, but it will probably never represent
a sound in any meaningful way.
