concerning another aspect of "personal music"
it is interesting how cellular phones ringtones and melodies turned into a
very obvious form of self-expression and of course how they totally changed
our conceived soundscape - how we learn to respond to "our" melody and
ignore the others' rings, which are all around us  - this is probably the
most functional application of music ever, as it is virtually clean of any
aesthetical enjoyment
