'the freest of radicals' - no type's 2cd label compilation

hello,

i'm not sure if anyone has already mentioned this or not, but i thought i would just recommend to you all the no type 2 disc compilation. it has some truly excellent music on it, so if you have the chance, you should definitely give it a listen. the packaging is very original and interesting, too. currently can't get enough of the track called 'couf', by kalx... some great stuff from gimp gadget oscillation and headphone science, as well as lots of interesting noisy/ambient gems.

while i'm plugging no type, magali babin also has a really nice, soft, metallic album released in the same style of card packaging. very mellow music, quite like rain on a tin roof. (raining mercury.)

i should point out that i'm totally not getting paid for this. that'd be nice, though.

was anybody else more than a bit disappointed by biosphere's 'shenzhou' album?

have a warm week,
jon.
