That would have been a good article about Moby, except for the statement:
"Electronic music is so easy to make that it drastically lowered the bar for
anyone who wanted to call themselves a musician; the resulting homemade
simplicity defined the aesthetic but also limited it."
Electronic sounds are easy to make, good electronic music isn't. Mrs.
Goldberg seems to be suggesting that nothing complex can come out of
something simple, a sentiment I have a feeling a few of you on this mailing
list disagree with.
