Re: [microsound] SuperCollider - under emulation?



you might try to find/buy/borrow/steal/make a PPC for this. I am a
windows user (yeah, yeah, i know what you're thinking) and i just scored
a 7200 on indefinite loan solely for the purpose of running mac apps
like soundhack and whatnot. using windows' own networking software, i'm
setting up a two-computer network so the Mac and the PC can share files.
the 7200 will be slow, but it is a PPC after all, and so it is capable
of a lot more than any emulator. you might want to give this approach a
try if you can. 
 
or you could sell your PC, get a mac and run virtual PC to run your
windows apps! :0)
