I think I missed the original email in this thread, but from what I have
read it seems that maybe you'd be interested in trying the experimental
software from IXI. The programs you should try I think are SPINDRUM and
VIRUS. Both are capable of playing back samples randomly, but thats about
it. Because they are director based programs they can be run simultaneously
with other programs that have more control.
