It seems that people are equating the word "experimental" with the terms 
 "cutting edge", "revolutionary", or "progressive", when it isn't
necessarily the case. The word "experimental" is a valid description when
one is (hello!) EXPERIMENTING. There is nothing outrageous or wrong about
that.
