i have to agree that experimental, is one of the most inane descriptions for
art. any band that sits down and goes through the creative process, is
experimenting. granted they may use a more limited approach, i.e. staying
within the boundaries of a certain genre and any jam band, experiments. free
jazz... a first year art student experiments with new mediums, and when an
audio artists gets a new piece of software, they experiment with it, but its
putting yourself into it and creating. so yes please do away with that word.
there is my nickels worth, accounting for inflation...
