You seem to focus on the sounds indvidually. You need to look and
hear it as a whole. Maybe this means changing your good individual
sounds, maybe not. One thing to NOT do is, hit the solo button on
a track, start making that track sound good (with all your mixing tools).
Because as soon as you un-solo that track and add all the other
elements in it will sound different. Trying EQing, balancing, adding
FX etc...when all the other tracks are playing. Also trying stripping
down your tracks. Maybe there is too much stuff going on. Mute
tracks and strip your mix down and listen to what happens. You
might go, "wow that bass track is sure mushy" or "that pad really
gives the track a nice shimmer and it goes away when I pull it out"
listen when you mix, move subtley, notice what happens,
learn from that, apply it
