If you get real popular, they will at least sue, but if you have a database with digitally signed artists agreements it won't matter, the problem is for people who are operating today without artist agreements, they have to get them fast, but still the problem is that if you get at all popular (like more than 100 listeners), they might try to sue so you have to go to cour to prove that you have agreements, but you could also represent yourself and just bring in copies of your agreements to court, then what could they do?

Yeah, I know and I'm not trying to downplay the issue. I just think that the end result could be that nobody (or at least many fewer stations) will be webcasting major label music while underground music will probably survive. Who is going to go after a station playing all microsound all the time?
