I saw him at the Composer-to-Composer festival in
Telluride, CO, in 1989.  He was talking with Laurie
Speigel, and she said that while she respected him
greatly, she just couldn't accept that all sound
equaled music.  John Cage replied, "Just open up your
window, and let the music come in."  Love that.
