opinions & *call for book lists

agreed...I may not agree with most of the opinions/thougts posted on the
topic but I got a lot out of the discussion...besides, this was the sort of
discourse that the microsound list was originally set up for (read the
microsound list mission statement)...

*also, for those who have been list members for a while we have posted
personal booklists from time to time...so here is a call for members
booklists:
please list 5 - 10 of the most recent books you've read that deal with
music, computers, philosophy, aesthetics etc...they should be somewhat
pertinent to the general scope of the list...if not read recently, they
should intersect with topics that are typically discussed here...
