designing an audio+video performance

Hi you all..Please, i need some information on the proper setting of  an audio-video stage for a live performance..
i will process live a sound track of an hour (more or less) and  a video artist will do the same on his video 
material...obiously the music and the video will be prepared  before the event..so  a  perfect sync  will be 
required...on top of this  audio -video sync  ,  live processing of  both will rapresent the improvvisational moment of 
the  event...i will use  a laptop  with  REASON and  LIVE ABLETON + a controller ....is there any  soft and/or hardware
that could  make  video  follows the sound  bed allowing some freedom for  video manipulation?....
