I definitely have...this concept was one of the main inspirations 
behind the name of the Stasisfield label.

As for my own work, it's also been a huge influence, although I don't 
know if I've ever been able to come up with a sufficient means of 
expressing it. I've used devices like a chiasm structure (starting at 
certain point, working towards a different point, then moving 
backwords through the process to finish back where the piece began) 
and constant drones or subtle repeated loops above which 
random/chance-based sound events happen.
