well, lets not forget that discs entire career is based on using skipping
cds as a sound source.  not to mention that "nullsonic" (their
collaboration with kk null) is absolutely amazing.

& personally my favorite part of any live performance or listening
experience is when, rather than playing the sounds, a musician or a
machine, allows the sounds to breath.  a cd skipping is kind of the same
thing.
