Unipolar (Simon B=E9lair, Jean-Francois Michaud, and collaborator L=E9on Lo aka
Helen of Troy) play what they call =B3ambient systemic rainbow rock=B2.  These
atmospheric instrumentals with an electronic sensibility, (guitar, bass,
vibes, keyboards, tapes) use repetition and dreamy melodies to elicit a
nostalgic feeling in the hearts of their listeners.  Performers at the 2001
New Media Festival (FCMM), they have been featured on both compilations
released by Montr=E9al label Natacha's Recordings.

Des cailloux est du carbone is the alter-ego of Marcello Marandola of Cian
=E9thrie. Glitch-techno and dub provide a subtle and reclusive backbone for
his soundscapes, a blend of the delicate and the deep.  The music of Des
cailloux et du carbone is perfectly suited to rad'a=B9s intimate and resonant
space.=20

Before, between, and after the live sets, rad=B9a resident D.J. Pinpin spins
her specialty: thoughtful music that straddles the electronic-acoustic
divide.
