The Artemiev soundtrack for Solaris is very nice (imo). His moments in it
are mostly ambiguous forms of intense electroacoustic soundscaping. In
fact, some of it also appears in The Mirror. Tarkovsky had a tendency to
carry over elements (sound, visual, their symbology, etc) from one film
to the next. For example, some of the music by V. Ovchinnikov from the
previous film, Andrey Rublev appears in Solaris as well.
